Colorado Homeschool Laws and Guidelines

Colorado Law requires that you file a Notice of Intent to Homeschool (NOI) with your school district 14 days prior to beginning your school year for all students age 6 or older as of August 1. Douglas County residents should use this form:

If you are not a Douglas County Resident, you will need to file with your own school district, which may or may not have its own unique form letter. If not, here are some sample NOI to aid you:
